'Personhood' initiative filed
Abortion opponents, according to WXVT15, in Mississippi want to extend rights to fetuses and prohibit abortion in the state. It is with more than the minimum certified signatures required that abortion opponents filed a petition with the secretary of state's office to get the issue on a statewide ballot.
