Crisis Pregnancy Centers So-called crisis pregnancy centers (CPCs) are centers predominantly run by anti-choice organizations that advertise free services to women facing an unintended pregnancy. The most common services include free pregnancy testing, options counseling, and short-term material assistance. The majority of CPCs are volunteer-run, but an increasing number of CPCs are becoming more medical and offering sonograms and STI testing. While many centers claim to provide unbiased information and assistance to pregnant women, their fundamental goal is to dissuade women from exploring the full range of reproductive health options.
