According to a 1999 survey by
the National Latina Institute for
Reproductive Health, 68 percent
of Latinas believe that women
should have unrestricted access to
abortion or that women should
have access to abortion under almost
all circumstances.
A 1997 survey by the National
Asian Women’s Health Organization
(NAWHO) demonstrated that nearly
70 percent of Asian American women
report they would support a woman’
decision to obtain an abortion.
