Protect Reproductive-Health Coverage in Health Reform
Anti-choice members of Congress continue to use health-care reform as a way to restrict access to abortion and other reproductive-health care. Women could lose coverage for abortion care -- even if their private health insurance already covers it! The good news is that a Senate committee has put forward a health-care plan that actually improves women's access to family planning, and won't jeopardize women's access to abortion. In fact, the committee had to beat several anti-choice amendments, all by one vote. We must call on the Senate to support this particular plan, put forward by Sen. Dodd and his colleagues in the HELP committee. Please contact your senators today by clicking here and filling out this short form.
