Last Chance To Restore Affordable Birth Control
Students and low-income women around the country have seen a dramatic increase in the price of their birth-control prescriptions. It’s an unintended consequence of a 2005 bill that went into effect earlier this year. The Senate just passed a provision as part of a war supplemental bill that includes language fixing the mistake that caused prescription birth-control prices to soar at family-planning clinics and university health centers nationwide. This could be the only chance to fix the birth-control price problem this year, and it doesn’t cost the federal government a dime! Please take a few minutes to show your support for reinstating affordable birth control.
