Volunteer at a Community Festival!
During the spring, summer, and fall months, NARAL Pro-Choice Maryland staffs information and education booths at numerous festivals throughout Maryland. Fun, dedicated volunteers are critical in our efforts to educate the community on important choice issues. Volunteers are expected to commit to a minimum shift of two hours. Here are some things that you can expect when you volunteer at a festival with NARAL Pro-Choice Maryland: - Gathering petition signatures to show support for crucial choice issues; - Educating the community on important issues, including (but not limited to) emergency contraception and crisis pregnancy centers; - Increasing the visibility of the pro-choice majority by handing out stickers and buttons. Some upcoming volunteer opportunities include: May 9: Laurel Main Street Festival (8:30- 5pm) June 14: Capital Pride (11-7pm) June 21: Baltimore Pride (11-6pm) June 27: LatinoFest at Patterson Park (12-9pm)
June 28: LatinoFest at Patterson Park (12-10pm)
